What is Therapy?
Therapy can provide needed relief from a large range of struggles that we all face periodically in life - depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship problems, family issues, or life transitions such as moving, divorce, death, or job loss.
It allows individuals who are experiencing difficulties with their thoughts or emotions access to learn important coping skills that can help them manage their behavior and navigate emotional and challenging periods in their lives. It truly can be life-changing!
Additionally, the privacy offered in counseling is treasured by some as a place to work through issues safely, in a confidential place that the world simply does not offer. A spouse can talk freely – process issues – gain insight - and not hurt their partner. A parent can talk about what they are really going through - and not hurt their child’s feelings, etc.
It is also a safe non-judgmental place where you can truly be yourself, be accepted, and be heard.
