Is your “Picker” broken?
When you keep picking an unhealthy partner, it could be that your “picker” is broken!
We subconsciously feel comfortable with dysfunctions of our childhood…even if we say “I’ll never do that…” we do.
Example: Have you ever known someone (or possibly yourself) who grew up with alcoholic parents, hated it, swore you’d never do that, then marry an alcoholic (before they're even drinking!)... even 2 or three different times? This is an obvious example, but it is sadly very true. It’s very common, and we can get help with this - learn to recognize these things, and “pick” a healthier mate.
We do repeat what we do not fix.
